The following items are prohibited on the actual event area:
- Knives and knife-like objects (nail files,
screwdrivers, handle combs, brass knuckles, etc.)
- All forms of glass containers (including perfume bottles)
- Plastic bottles, camel bags (so-called drinking backpacks), canisters and
W:O:A drinking horns – W:O:A festival cups and foldable water bottles up to 1 litre are permitted
- All forms of cans (drinks cans, hairspray, deodorant, etc.)
- CS gas, pepper spray
- Video cameras and professional photo cameras/SLR/System cameras (simple
digital cameras without interchangeable lenses and mobile phones are permitted)
- Studded belts with spikes longer than 1 cm and belts with protruding or
pointed studs (longer than 1.5 cm = killer studs), cartridge belts
- Chains such as bicycle chains, motorbike chains or similar (purse chains are
permitted)
- Flagpoles and sticks (only W:O:A flags with poles are permitted)
- Any form of pyrotechnic objects (including sparklers)
- Vuvuzelas, megaphones, etc.
- Backpacks and bags of any kind except Full Metal bags (from 2017) and bags up
to a maximum size of 30 cm x 20 cm x 5 cm
- Liquid containers for e-cigarettes with a capacity of over 100 ml (smaller
quantities and spare batteries are permitted)
- Only power banks no larger than a mobile phone and with a maximum capacity of 100Wh (approx. 27,000 mAh) may be taken into the infield.
In the event of a violate dispute, please inform the responsible group leader
of the W:O:A Metal Guards immediately. You can recognise them by their red or
black polo shirts.
