We have a breakdown service on site all the time. If your car breaks down, ask our staff.
Here are some tips to avoid breakdowns and accidents or to help fix problems faster:
- Car keys are often lost during the festival. The ÖAMTC recommends bringing a second key. But don’t leave it in your car - give it to someone you are traveling with.
- At the Lost & Found near the wristband exchange, many keys look alike. To avoid confusion, put a special, easy-to-recognize keychain on your keys.
- Reduce energy use. Several days at the festival can drain your car battery. Turn off radios, air conditioning, electric coolers, and lights when not needed.
- Leave enough space to pull out your car later.
- Parking helpers work quickly, but don’t rush. Leaving enough space reduces parking damage and problems when leaving.
- Fold in your side mirrors after parking. Emergency vehicles and others can get through easier and it helps avoid damage.
- If you need help, open your car’s hood so your car is easier to find for the breakdown service.
Important note: If you block an emergency route with your car, it will be towed away immediately and you will have to pay for it.
Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer charging facilities for electric vehicles on site. We are working hard to make these available as soon as possible.
