Please register your necessary aids and bags (e-wheelchairs, battery-powered traction devices, battery-powered support systems, medication bags, etc.) in advance at the e-mail address handicap@wacken.com. Please give us your full name and describe what kind of device it is and what it is needed for. Please do the same for rucksacks and bags.
The registered devices and bags can then be demonstrated once at the festival in the Wheels of Steel Area (Campground A) at the Alsterarbeit stand and will then be checked and given a sticker authorizing you to take the device with you.
Wheelchairs, rollators, forearm crutches or canes for the blind, as well as insulin and adrenaline pens are excluded from this regulation.
IMPORTANT: No self-made devices are permitted. Also no gasoline-powered devices. Only original and officially tested aids.
Please understand that the security staff will still have to take a look into the bags so that these exceptions are not misused to smuggle other items into the infield.
